I have two tips for today’s Daily Takeaway:
1. Quicken 2018 is a bit different from previous years. It is now subscription based. This means you purchase it, and at the end of 1 year, you will need to renew, or you lose access to your data. You can also install it on as many computers as you want, as long as you use the same Quicken account on each computer. Subscription based software is becoming the norm, and is not necessarily bad.
2. Look for Microsoft Windows to move into the subscription based world as well. The next version of Windows will be Windows 365. You pay an annual fee to use the software. I will post more details as soon as I know them.
