Hey everyone, Mozilla released Firefox version 3.6 this morning. Many things have changed with Firefox in version 3.6, but one of the most noticeable change you will see is what they term the “Persona”. A Persona is basically a skin that you can add to your browser to liven it up and make it look hip or cool. Firefox has a Person page, and you can get to it here. Once you find a persona you like, hover your mouse over it and click on “wear it”. I personally just put on the Avatar persona. (if you have not seen the movie, see it!)
Other features include full screen video support, and it will also warn you of out-of-date plug-ins. There are other items included in this release, but mostly speed and performance enhancing items.
I installed Firefox 3.6 this morning, and the only issue I had at first was with my RoboForm toolbar not showing up. After a few openings and closings of Firefox, the toolbar opened without a hitch.
So, far my initial impressions of the release is good. If I come up with any glitches, I will certainly let you all know.
Have a great day everyone!
